Link-a-Pix is a captivating collection of logic puzzles that combines deductive reasoning with artistic flair. This innovative Japanese creation challenges players to uncover a hidden pixel-art picture by linking clue-pairs and painting the paths accordingly. The goal is to ensure that the number of squares in each path corresponds to the value of the clues being connected.
Featuring a total of 125 free puzzles in both color and black and white, Link-a-Pix offers hours of intellectually stimulating entertainment. With varying difficulty levels and grid sizes up to 65x100, there is a challenge suitable for every player. The puzzles are meticulously crafted by artists, guaranteeing top-quality enjoyment.
One standout feature of Link-a-Pix is its unique fingertip cursor, designed specifically for navigating and solving large puzzle grids with precision and ease. By simply pressing and holding their fingertip anywhere on the screen, players can create links and drag them across neighboring squares. A double-tap or the eraser button allows for easy deletion of links.
In order to enhance the puzzle-solving experience, graphical previews within the puzzle list provide a clear view of progress as each puzzle within a volume is solved. Additionally, a Gallery view option allows for larger previews of the puzzles.
To further enrich the gameplay, Link-a-Pix includes a Weekly Bonus section where players can enjoy an extra free puzzle each week, adding even more fun and variety to the experience.
With its emphasis on logic, Link-a-Pix not only offers entertainment but also sharpens cognitive skills. Engaging in these puzzles contributes to improved logical reasoning and cognitive abilities.
In terms of gaming features, players have the ability to resize, move, and zoom in on puzzles for easy viewing. The game also includes unlimited checks for puzzle verification, error notifications during gameplay, unlimited undo and redo options, and a link counter for convenient link length viewing. Furthermore, players can opt for auto-solving starting clues and can concurrently play and save multiple puzzles. With additional features such as puzzle filtering, sorting, and archiving options, dark mode support, and the ability to track solving times, Link-a-Pix provides a comprehensive puzzle-solving experience. Players can also backup and restore their puzzle progress using iCloud.
